Getting Ready for Kindergarten Panel (April 07, 2026)

The Wellesley Mothers Forum presents our annual "Getting Ready for Kindergarten Panel"! Join us for an informal discussion to learn from current kindergarten moms about how best to prepare your child, and yourself, for kindergarten. This seminar is for members who have a child entering kindergarten in Wellesley Public Schools, or other local private elementary schools in the fall of 2026. Guests and partners welcome!

Meet other parents with children at your school and get practical tips and honest advice about all things kindergarten. We are also pleased to announce that a WMF mom on the panel will be able to answer questions about WCCC after-school care for your child.

Social time with libations & light bites to start at 6:30PM, with discussion beginning at 7:00PM. Following the hour-long panel, we will break up into groups so that you can meet and chat with other parents with children who will be attending the same school as yours!

Whether you’re brand new to the area or simply looking to expand your circle, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect, chat, and feel at home in the WMF community. We encourage members in their first year to join us—you’ll meet other women who are in the same exciting stage of getting to know WMF.

Please note that this event is one in a series of strolls throughout the year. Please save the date for this year's Wellesley Mother's Forum Spring Social, "The Tennis Ball". Bring your A-game but leave your rackets at home! The only thing we'll be serving are center court cocktails, canapes and conversation.

The Tennis Ball will be held on the Sunset Terrace at Wellesley Country Club, and members are encouraged to bring a spouse, partner, or friend! Come dressed in your tennis best and ready to rally (around the bar and buffet). We can't wait to celebrate the end of our WMF year with you!
