playgroups

A WMF playgroup is a group of mothers and their similarly aged children who are paired by WMF.

Playgroups provide moms as well as their children with opportunities to get to know other families going through similar milestones in a smaller group setting.   

Playgroups are assigned in November with initial meetings coordinated by WMF. Meetings will occur around Wellesley in public spaces like town playgrounds, libraries, or the recreation center.

Additionally, email groups will be created for each playgroup cohort so members can stay in touch and communicate in-between and after playgroup meetings. Text groups are also encouraged for cohorts to stay in touch and create a community amongst moms with similarly-aged children.
