Charitable Givings: Fleece Blanket Making for Project Linus

Help us kick off National Blanket Making Day on February 17th!

The Charitable Givings Committee seeks your help in supporting our local chapter of Project Linus, a non-profit organization that collects handmade blankets and distributes them to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need of a big hug. Recruit your kiddos' help over February break to make and donate blankets as a fun family activity while teaching them the importance of helping others. 

Please register by February 10th. All supplies will be delivered directly to your house by February 16th. Once blankets are completed, please drop them off by February 27th at 317 Grove Street, Wellesley, MA 02482. 

• Blanket kits are $17.00 each.  
• Each blanket kit contains fabric for two fleece blankets and a pair of fabric scissors for you to keep.
• Note that these are no sew kits, and each will have instructions. You’ll also find a “how to” video in your registration confirmation email. 

We have a limited supply of kits, so please register early!
