The most challenging part of getting help for your baby, toddler, or school-age child is understanding the who, what, when, where, and how. These systems can be overwhelming and confusing! Joanne Sweeney, Director of Riverside Early Intervention, and Lucy Verhave, Special Education Advocate and Consultant at Verhave Education, will pave the way, shedding light on free support and available services, navigating the system, and tackling questions on development, education, and growth.
Meghan Schelzi, a literacy specialist at Next Step Education, and Wellesley Special Education Parent Advocacy Council (SEPAC) will also be available during the social hour to answer any questions about finding the right accommodations and services for your family.
Social time begins at 6:30 and the program will begin at 7:30. We welcome spouses, caretakers and guests to attend.
Dabney Baum & Maya Tal, WMF Programs Co-Directors & Nicole Katz, Mothers of Children with Special Needs Subgroup Lead Coordinator
