Join us for an energetic, inclusive morning of movement with Neighborhood Acrobat! Led by Coach Casey, this adapted gymnastics and acrobatics session is designed specifically for children of all abilities to explore movement, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive, sensory-friendly environment.
Whether your child loves to bounce, balance, roll, or explore at their own pace, this class emphasizes playful skill-building, body awareness, and joyful connection—all guided by an experienced, compassionate coach. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for moms and families in our community to connect and share experiences while the kids play.
While open to all WMF members, this event is especially geared toward families who identify as having a child with special needs—however you define that.
What to Expect:
- Tailored, Inclusive Coaching: Coach Casey and the team meet every child where they are, offering adaptive setups, gentle encouragement, and personalized support.
- Open Movement & Structured Play: A mix of sensory-friendly obstacle courses, basic acrobatic movements, tumbling mats, and balance challenges.
- Supportive Community: A relaxed, welcoming space where every child's unique needs and communication styles are embraced.
What to Wear/Bring:
- Comfortable athletic clothing (no buckles, zippers, or jewelry).
- Bare feet or grip socks.
- A water bottle labeled with your child's name.
Cost: $10/child
Please note that WMF is unable to offer refunds for this event.

The Mothers of Children with Special Needs ("MOCWSN") is a WMF subgroup for moms who identify as having a child with special needs, in whatever way that means to them. Some moms in this group have kids who are receiving early intervention, some are wondering whether their child would benefit from an evaluation, some have kids with an ADHD or autism diagnosis, some have a child with a genetic diagnosis, and everything in between. All are welcome! We provide support to each other through organized events, our WhatsApp group chats, and informal sharing of personal experiences and resources.
