The Working Moms Group (WMG) was created to support our members who are busy balancing family life with a full or part time job or looking to get back into the workforce. This group holds social events throughout the year so working moms can meet up and empathize with each other's challenges, provide support, and most importantly- make new friends that share this common ground!
WMG is a Wellesley Mothers Forum subgroup dedicated to fostering this unique community. We join together from across Wellesley and neighboring towns to support and empower each other with positivity, encouragement and solutions for the unique challenges of juggling motherhood with careers and community leadership. We are here to share what encourages our excellence. Event topics are intended to cover a broad range of themes of interest to our members, and especially those addressing the nexus of succeeding as women in the workplace, thriving as moms at home, supporting our local communities, and finding time for self care. We are all in this together. #wellesleyworkingmoms
One of the many benefits of the Wellesley Mothers' Forum is the ability to connect with each other! Whether it be for networking or simply socializing with those in your field, the WMF Working Moms' Group is piloting industry-specific meetups.
Click the link and fill out the form if you are interested in being grouped with moms who closely align in the workplace. A WMG Volunteer will serve as your point person for each industry; once your form is submitted you will be added to an email and/or text chain about casual get-togethers.
Please note that we are starting small with some broad categories but hope to grow this if there is interest! Reach out with questions to Emily Farrar, WMG Co-Lead Coordinator (emilyrfarrar@gmail.com).
